12 inch straight
running fish catching "GM" lure with 3 T'Zers.
$23.00
It’s TUNA - WAHOO - MAHI -
MARLIN TIME out on the OCEAN. You're thinking of putting out that one
BIG lure that will attract all those fish right to your spread.
RRRIIIGGGHHHTTTTTTTTTTT !!!!!!!!!!
You have put out all the medium lures and are
wondering what next? What do you put out and where do you put it?MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Now is the time for this flashy monster
catcher.
Take a special 10/0 XX American made hook in DURALIN finish to keep it’s
edge SHARPER, LONGER. To keep this hook back where it belongs via bright
RED TRI-BEADS. I do this to STIFFEN the whole lure and keep the hook
where it belongs, back in the last part of the skirt. Add a
6+ foot of heavy duty mono and you’re almost there.
Three (3) T’ZERs in MATCHING COLORED double skirts with HUGE EYES
to make this rig really come alive. It just reeks of fishy…fishy…fishy, come and try and get me, fishy. These 4,3/4 inch double skirts with
sparkles just come alive in the water.
Now I use the best TRI BEADS, NOT round BEADS to hold this lure in
place. The TRI BEADS stiffen the lure, and keep this lure RUNNING
STRAIGHT and true.
By the way, all of the above is on 6+ feet
of 225 pound test Double Strength clear leader. HINT…HINT…HINT… NEVER ,
NEVER use a short leader. Too many times that fish of a LIFETIME makes a
last run and dives down UNDER the boat OR WORSE , in a heavy sea, twists
and rubs the leader on the boat and breaks off.
WHERE TO PUT IT:
1). Long corner back in the 3rd or 4th wake
wave. Run this right in the MIDDLE of the wake wave, NOT on the
front or rear wave shoulder. If you run it on a shoulder, than you’re
fishing for MARLIN.
2).
BEHIND and BELOW (8 feet back) a SPREADER bar. In that
spot, the trailing predators who are not quite sure if they want them,
will see it and WON’T TURN AWAY, as it’s too good a chance at a free
meal.
3).
Off a long rigger.
HINT…HINT…HINT… Keep it below the tip of the rigger. That
way the motion of the rigger will make it move in long slow surges.
4). Back in the 5th wake wave. Back there it
looks like a small prey group trying to get back to the main school and
the predator (YOUR LURE) can’t watch it’s own tail.
This sweetheart was made to RUN ‘N GUN. You will COVER more ocean,
convincing MORE Tuna and MAHI to come running.
A TUNA BIRD with a TURBO TAIL back in
your wake where your propwash bubbles turn to Champagne size, will
attract those following gamefish. With all that going for
you, the fish don’t really stand much of a chance. The Charter and
commercial guys fish this as an early morning straight running lure. Why
not you?
EXTRA HELP. I STIFF RIG this lure for you free of charge using the best COLOR matching tape to ADD extra color to
YOUR lure.
What colors should you use?
LEMON/LIME
"IS" the color of a MAHI
at ease, just lounging along and NOT PAYING ATTENTION to anything. LOOK at the POURED GREEN HEAD with BRIGHT
GOLD IRIDESCENT EYES. If that doesn’t TURN on ANY predator, then not
much else will!
I’ve added bright Yellow and Green OUTER
SKIRT with IMBEDDED sparkles. That way the sparkles make that outer
skirt FLASH and SPLASH that VIBRANT COLOR down INTO the DEPTHS,
attracting all those predators UP from the depths. This outer skirt ALSO
has dark Black Bars to make the Green and Yellow more DISTINCTIVE. All
the ABOVE in 12 INCHES of tough plastic skirting.
Now, I’ve put that Chartreuse INNER SKIRT
where it belongs, to show off all that color in the OUTER SKIRT. The
SPARKLES of the INNER SKIRT flashes its color down into the depths and
stops this lure from being HIDDEN by the bright sea surface. YOUWZA
!!!!!!!! This color combination is DEADLY from the
Northern Canyons down thru the CARIBBEAN for all of the TUNAS that
swim.
Currently I only have one of each of these
colors available:
BLACK HEAD w PINK/BLACK SKIRT
YELLOW HEAD w LIGHT
GREEN/PINK SKIRT
BLACK HEAD w
BLACK/PINK SKIRT
BLUE HEAD w BLUE/PINK SKIRT
PINK HEAD w PINK/PURPLE SKIRT
as pictured in the Marlin's mouth on page 1
